Got a ring at 7:45 am, which is already a bit early, right? The caller said something about unwanted nuisance calls and that they could assist in blocking them. I told them the easiest way to stop the nuisance calls is for them to not call me in the first place! Funny enough, I had a couple of calls like this just yesterday too.

Got a call earlier today from someone claiming to verify if I still used British Gas. The voice sounded foreign and honestly, I barely caught what they were on about. Ended up just putting the phone down.

Got a call saying it was from the IRS and about some lawsuit against me, but when I tried ringing back, the number just showed as unavailable.

Got a ring from this number earlier, voice was all fuzzy and there was a weird lag, made it hard to catch what the bloke was saying at first. He asked for my name, then if I was "on my way," like if I was about or not. When I tried to find out who he was, he said "Peter Williams," and when I wanted to know who that was, he claimed to be "your boyfriend"!!! I just cracked up and ended the call, proper odd one that was.

Got a call from this number claiming they were from the IRS, saying I’m being sued or something. It rang twice and both times they said it was the last warning. Pretty sure it’s dodgy though, doesn’t seem legit at all.

Had two calls today from Illinois, both showing different numbers but turned out to be the same IRS scam. One time I couldn’t even pick up because it just went straight to voicemail. Really annoying!

Got a call from this number with some recorded voice claiming the IRS is takin’ me to court? Lol yeah right, those scammers are gettin’ less convincing by the day. Caller ID just showed up as Unknown though.
If the ID can’t tell who’s calling, it’s best to just ignore it.

I just got a call from this number, and the person on the line said they were from Talktalk tech support. She asked me to give her access to my computer so she could fix some issues. I wasn’t convinced, so I simply ended the call.

My phone showed 'Pay Phone' calling me. I chose not to pick up, and no message was left either.

I've had a couple of calls from a bloke with an Indian or Pakistani accent saying there's an issue with my computer. He kept asking me to get to my computer and follow his instructions to sort it out. I quickly realised it was a scam and just told him to get lost before hanging up.

They’re up to no good again. They used to call me from 7183779189 and after a few calls, the phone company’s blocking service shut them down. Now they’ve switched to a new number and are trying their luck once more.

I've been getting a bunch of calls like this lately - they just stay silent for a bit before a recorded message says "Goodbye". The phone number changes every time, but I'm pretty sure it's the same scam trying to see if someone's actually picking up so they can follow up for personal info. Just yesterday, the caller ID showed 0016072719593. Whenever the call comes through, the number always shows up legit.

We get calls from this number pretty much a few times each week, and they claim to be from Microsoft's tech support. Whatever you do, don’t share any info with them. It’s definitely a con!

I just had a call from a number that looks really dodgy, like a scam. If they ring back, I’m thinking of answering and just leaving the phone on for ages so they rack up a massive bill from overseas. Wouldnt mind seeing them pay for once!
