I got hit with a £4.50 fee for a text I never asked for. I shot them an email insisting they take me off their list and refund the charge. They replied saying I'd been unsubscribed, and that a refund was on the way. Apparently, in about a week, I'd get a free SMS from the Post Office with a barcode. I'd then need to pop into my local branch with that code to claim back the £13.50 refund, VAT included. Fingers crossed it all goes through alright.

I’m gobsmacked this is even allowed. I kept getting hit with £4.50 charges just for opening a sales text! Honestly, how’s that not against the law? I’ve gone and blocked the number now. You really need to ring your provider and get it sorted, check your bills properly!

I got charged £18 from 4 texts, but managed to get the money back by calling the number listed here. They gave me a code, which I took down to the post office, and then I got the cash back. They've also stopped my phone from receiving any more messages like that. I’m not happy with how sneaky the texts are, trying to slip past without people realising, but at least sorting it out and getting a refund wasn't too much hassle.

Got charged over £12 from 60444 for three texts I didn’t even agree to! Nothing like one bloody message a month, but if you don’t keep a close eye on your phone bill, these sneaky charges just slip right through. This kind of rip-off should be illegal. If you wanna block the number 03333137900 from a UK landline, just dial 60444. It won’t cost you a penny. These are people who sell mobile numbers to other companies, and in this example it’s Kalastia Consulting based in Cyprus! You just put in the mobile number that keeps getting calls or texts and they’ll stop it.
