I feel the same way. I also received a similar email, but I chose not to respond.

I have received the same email too. It stated that I will be receiving $7,600 USD daily through Western Union, which has been deposited at the Western Union Payout Center in Malaysia. The email claims that I am one of seven beneficiaries approved to receive $1,500,000.00 USD as part of the ongoing UN Humanitarian Aid / Poverty Alleviation Program (UNPAP). Western Union will supposedly send me $7,500.00 daily. In order to start receiving my daily payments, I am required to provide my full name, address, and phone number to the sender. The email was sent by a person named Ronny Salmon from students.post.edu to my email address. Additionally, the email mentions that for more information about my payment status, I should contact Mrs. Jacqueline Mian at the provided 24-hour helpline number and reply to the email at [email protected].

My first concern is how did they manage to obtain my email address? Moreover, I am unsure of how to go about getting them to stop contacting me.

You don't receive anything for free, so it's important to consider things before making decisions. Have you ever received anything without having to pay for it?

You have the option to add yourself to the national register to prevent receiving unwanted phone calls and emails. My wife recently did this on her phone, and I will ask her to do it for me as well. I just received an annoying email, which is clearly a fraudulent scheme.

I have received an email from these individuals claiming that I have won the lottery, and they state that Western Union will be sending me $7,500.00 every day! I am perplexed as to how they obtained my email address. Moreover, I would greatly appreciate if there was a way for me to kindly request that they cease contacting me. Is there any way to achieve this?

I recently received an email notifying me that I have won a lottery organized by the United Nations. Interestingly, they mentioned that my first payment would be facilitated through Money Gram or a similar dubious platform. These kinds of fraudulent emails tend to come my way quite frequently, and I'm quite perplexed as to how they managed to obtain my email address in the first place. Furthermore, I am desperate to find a way to prevent these scams from reaching me. The situation doesn't end there; I also receive numerous phone calls from unfamiliar numbers that never leave any voicemail messages. Upon researching the numbers online, I discovered that they too are connected to major scams. It's genuinely baffling where these individuals are located and operating from. Could you please advise me on how to stop them from further bothering me?
