Frustrated, I eventually picked up the phone, only to be greeted with a request for someone using my first name but my son's surname. They purported to be calling from the state health department, of all places! I promptly informed them they had the wrong individual since that surname doesn’t belong to me, and, truth be told, I have never undergone such surgery. Remarkably, just an hour later, I received another call from the same number regurgitating the same spiel.
