Seems like 001 is an American code, but I'm not entirely sure. Regardless, I received a call, didn't say anything, and the caller hung up. I decided to google the number and stumbled upon this website. It's been over 4 years since my car accident, and luckily there was no damage to anyone involved. However, ever since then, I've been receiving these scam calls, especially after using the insurance company's recommended repairer who actually didn't perform the job properly, as I discovered recently. I've also been receiving calls from other numbers starting with 001, so now I don't bother answering them.
