They made me check for the key next to the control button on my PC/Mac. 2. They asked me to open the event viewer through the run box, showing me scary messages that appeared. 3. They guided me to download and install Team Viewer through a URL provided in the run box. 4. Lastly, they requested my Team Viewer details, granting them remote access to my PC.
