Got a voicemail saying they were trying to reach me, something about a case number, but honestly couldn’t make out most of the letters and digits. They mentioned there were two cases against me and that once they serve me at home or work, I won’t be able to avoid it. I tried ringing them about 10 times, only managed to get through once. When I told the bloke I couldn't understand the case number, he put me on hold and then just ended the call. After that, I phoned over 10 times with no answer at all. I’m certain I don’t owe any loans or credit card money. The last number kept calling for months but no one ever picked up. Ended up blocking that number.

I’ve got no clue who these folks are. They’ve rung me a few times already and I’m not sure what they’re after. If they don’t tell me who they’re looking for, I’m just gonna ignore their calls.

So, today on Nov 23 201 I got a call from this number. They told me I supposedly owe more than $400 for a loan from loan.com dated Oct 29 2015. They threatened to take me to court if I didn’t pay. The caller said my account was so overdue I couldn’t speak to anyone at the company itself. They gave their name as Goldmand Associates Information Centre. I tried calling back a few times but every time they just put me on hold.

They rang me like eight different times. When I answered and told them they had the wrong person, they immediately put me on hold. Nine minutes later, the call got disconnected. I phoned back, and that time they wanted my name and some case number. I gave them the number but wouldn’t give my name since I’m not involved. They started getting all pushy. Honestly, they should be closed down just for that annoying hold music, never mind how rude everyone sounded!

For the last few years, about twice a year, I keep getting calls from these people. They even left voicemails on my mobile and rang my mum's place as well. I've never owed them a penny. Seriously, this has got to stop. So annoying!!!

They keep ringing me non stop and won’t say what the “complaint” is about unless I give them my social security number to prove who I am. Yeah, right, this has scam written all over it from some lazy, useless person. I said no way and asked if there’s any other way to prove my identity, but they refused. They wouldn’t even say who they’re calling for. When I suggested they send me something in writing instead, they said no unless I give them my social security number. I’ve reported this number for harassment - it’s getting seriously annoying. Hope these scammers get busted sooner or later!

I keep getting calls from loads of different numbers, all saying the same thing that so many others have mentioned. I dont owe any money though, so honestly I just want someone to take them to court or something.

Really unpleasant and quite rude! I wish I had some idea who they were so I could lodge a complaint with the trading standards office.

I had a call like this today as well. They said I owed some money to a credit card firm. When I told them I don’t have any such credit card, they started saying I was in default with the court. Then they said they were recording everything to send to a judge. The rest of what they said was pretty much the same as others described here. They even suggested I get my lawyer to ring them today. Honestly, maybe someone with legal knowledge should get in touch with them to have them looked into and stopped for good.

Every day I get calls from different numbers saying they’re going to take me to court. It’s definitely a scam. The person they’re after doesn’t even live here, yet they keep ringing nonstop. It’s so annoying!

Got a call from a woman called Karen Wood. She sounded really serious and seemed like she wanted to start an argument. Turns out she was faking being a debt collector. Total scam.

Got a voicemail claiming theres a complaint against me and to ring 443-478-4433, with a complaint number MNP50747. Been getting calls from various numbers but the message is always the same.

Loads of different numbers have been texting me from what looks like about 15 or so different phones. They keep saying they're after someone called Darlene Boland and they’ll take legal action if they don't get a reply. I'm pretty certain this is some kind of scam.

Got a voicemail from someone saying they wanted to complain about me.

They claimed I had been formally served and offered to sort out the claim on my behalf. But as soon as I began asking them some questions, their attitude changed and they got quite rude, asking whether I wanted to pay up or end up in jail. I said I suspected it was a scam, and after that, they wouldn’t give me any details about their business.
