I also received a call from this number, offering me £9000. I believe they obtained my number through Craigslist, where I had listed some items for sale.

It's the same old story as before. These darn "do not call" lists just don't seem to be effective.

I have been receiving numerous suspicious calls lately, indicating some sort of scam. These callers either stay silent on the line or falsely claim to be government agents, promising to give me $9000. However, they quickly follow up by requesting my banking information. What's unsettling is that each time it's a different person, and their English proficiency is quite poor. One had a Russian-sounding accent, another an Indian-sounding accent, and the most recent one had a Chinese-sounding accent. Their use of VoIP technology is also below standard, as I discovered when I called back and reached a questionable "Google" service. It seems they are using internet phone accounts to carry out their dubious activities. Urgent action needs to be taken to put a stop to them.

I agree with all the other comments stating the same thing. I receive constant calls every hour, but fortunately, I can block them. Now they can continue calling relentlessly, but it doesn't bother me. They are the ones who are unsuccessful.

They must be prevented from continuing their disruptive behavior. They made three phone calls with a 15-minute gap between each one. After enjoying a brief period of silence, they started calling once more in the afternoon. Despite expressing my frustration and asking who they were, they persisted in making further calls, demonstrating their fluency in English.

In the span of 5 hours, I received approximately 12 phone calls from an unknown caller. Each time I picked up, there was no response before the call abruptly terminated. After reaching out to my telephone service provider, they assisted me in blocking these nuisance calls. It would be greatly appreciated if our government could devise a solution to prevent scammers from exploiting the phone system. It seems like there is a constant influx of scams, making it almost futile to answer the phone these days.

It's incredibly frustrating. They have been causing me endless annoyance. They've phoned me at least 6 times today between 10 and 2. Each time I answer, there's no one on the other end, and then they abruptly hang up, leaving me hanging. Lately, I've been receiving an abundance of these calls from different numbers. I really wish there was a simple way for me to block them directly from my phone with just the press of a button.

I feel like they're really getting on my nerves. They have phoned me on multiple occasions between 10 and 2 today, at least six times. Every time I answer, there's no one on the other end, just a click followed by silence. Lately, I've been receiving a multitude of these calls from different numbers. I wish we had the ability to block them easily with a button on our phones.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from the treasury department. They informed me that I had been selected to receive a complimentary federal grant. Can I clarify anything else for you?

I keep receiving calls from these individuals, but as soon as I answer, all I can hear in the background is jumbled noises. When they attempt to call again, I choose not to answer, but I can hear faint breathing before they abruptly end the call. Luckily, since I own a Samsung phone, I am able to block these calls. Moreover, there are several virus protection apps available for mobile phones that offer this blocking feature as well. One option is Norton.

I receive multiple phone calls from these individuals every day. Unfortunately, my phone does not have the option to block numbers, otherwise I would have done so. Despite me repeatedly asking them to stop calling me, they continue to do so.

Since Monday, I have been receiving calls consistently every day, usually 2 to 3 times. However, there is never a message left on my answering machine. Today, the frequency of calls increased to 6 times. On the second call, when I answered, I could hear noise in the background indicating that it was another phone solicitation. A male voice with an accent said "mame" and began speaking, but as soon as I told him not to call me anymore and that I would report the number to the FCC, he abruptly hung up. After that encounter, I received 3 calls which all went to my answering machine, but no messages were left.
