Got a call from Malta, didnt pick up. They rang yesterday and again today, so ive just blocked the number. No good reason for anyone from Malta to be calling me, and they never leave a voicemail, so cant be anything urgent.

This Malta number has rung me up three times over the past few days. After reading the other people's experiences, I’ve decided to block it now.

Someone said they were calling from CV Library and asked if I was currently working. I told them I was employed and quite happy, and thanked them for the call. Then they replied with a bit of an attitude, saying "that's alright if you're not open minded and uninterested in what we've got." I explained again that it's not about being closed off, just that I'm not looking for a job or a change right now. They went on to say it was fine I wasn’t open minded and that they’d make a note of it against my name.

Got a call saying they checked out my CV and have a job offer. It was from Devere Group (not connected to the hotel chain). Had a look online and loads of people are moaning about how bad it is working there. Would stay well clear!!

Got a call from a Malta number. Picked up and the person said they found my CV online and wanted to talk about a job opportunity. Told them I’m already employed and not searching for a new job. They asked what my job was and if I liked it. When I said I really did, they just said ok and hung up. Bit strange they’re making calls from Malta though.

This is the second occasion I've been rung by this number, and since I don’t know anyone from Malta (even though I’ve visited a couple of times), I ignored it the first time. When they called again, I picked up but stayed silent, then ended the call after hearing noises in the background.

Devere group keeps ringing me even after i told them to remove my number. They’ve called loads this past year using slightly different numbers. It’s gone from irritating to straight up harassing. Honestly, the way they keep at it really makes you question these “job” offers - usually, if it sounds amazing, it’s probably a scam. This is the third time i’ve had to block them on my iphone.
