We've been noticing some rather baffling charges on our credit card statement, specifically from this PayPal entry linked to Skype with the number 35314369001, and it's a staggering HKD128 every single day! It's absolutely outrageous! We've never even used Skype, and we definitely haven't misplaced our credit card. So how on earth is this happening?! It strikes me as both presumptuous for PayPal to withdraw money unbidden, and, at worst, it could even be seen as a deceitful act.

I just received a call from what turned out to be PayPal, as they were looking to confirm some details regarding my account. The whole interaction felt very legitimate and safe. They didn’t ask for any sensitive information, just the last four digits of my bank account to ensure I was indeed the account holder. No chance of that info being useful to someone else. After the call, I took a moment to log into my PayPal account, and sure enough, I noticed that some updates had indeed been implemented. I would say this is a reliable process!

On the 27th of June, 2008, we registered for a PayPal account to make our very first purchase on eBay. The funds were withdrawn from our account on the aforementioned date, as indicated by the number next to the debit entry. However, we have yet to see any sign of our transaction.
