Saw a call pop up but it vanished before I could even think of answering. There's no bloody way I'm ringing back and getting stung by some dodgy scam. Those lot can jog on.

Sounds like a typical scam to me. They ring just once, letting it show up as a missed call so you might get curious and return the call. Once you do, they hit you with crazy charges. I just blocked them straight away.
