Just got a call claiming £999.99 was taken from my debit card and to press 1 to reach fraud dept. I didn’t press anything as my bank never calls like that. There’s loads of scams going around like this, the BBC has even done reports on them. If you hit 1, they supposedly install an app on your phone to steal your data. Luckily, mine isn’t a smartphone and I don’t use it online, so they’d struggle with me!
