Clearly a dodgy scam from the tax office. On occasions when I rang back, the number had vanished, whilst at other times it was engaged. One fortunate attempt resulted in an individual picking up and claiming to be from the IRS; I promptly told them I was also with the IRS and they ought to be embarrassed for their deception. They didn’t say a word and just cut off the call.
