Got this message that said: I’m Hal Hoover, the agent handling Mr Hernandez's donation winnings. Please send your full name so I can verify our winners and get your £100,000 sent to you quickly. Then today, I got another text that read: Dear Johnny, your prize money is ready and will be dropped off by a FedEx courier in about 3 hours. Will you be home? The thing is, I never gave them my address, so how are they planning to courier cash with FedEx? Bit fishy if you ask me!

Just got a message saying some guy named Jaun Hernandez chose me to win £100,000. Is this for real or just another scam?

Got a message last Friday, 25/11/22, from someone calling himself Juan Hernandez. He claims he won $10 million on a Deluxe scratch card back in February 2022, and that he also bagged the same amount sometime in 2019. According to him, he’s giving away $100,000 to chosen folks. If you’re receiving it, he says congrats and hopes it helps with your family or money troubles. He told me to contact his agent HAL HOOVER at +1 347-588-9455 to find out how to claim the cash. He added a bit about looking his name up on CNN and YouTube if I doubted his story. God bless America, apparently. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I got a text that asked me to reply to this number. Here’s what it said:

Hi, I’m Juan Hernandez. I actually won $10 million again playing the Deluxe scratch-off back in February 2022, and I also won $10 million sometime in 2019. I’m planning to give $100,000 to a few chosen people. If you’re readin’ this, congrats! I hope this cash helps sort out stuff for you and your family. To find out how to claim it, just text my agent HAL HOOVER at +1 347-588-9455. If you don’t believe me, just search my name on CNN or YouTube to check out my winning footage. God bless America!

Someone called Juan Hernandez sent me a message saying he’d won 10 million dollars on a deluxe scratch card back in February 2022. He claimed he picked a few lucky people to receive $100,000 each. Said if I didn’t believe him, I could check out a video on CNN about his win. To get the cash, he told me to contact his agent, Half Hoover, at 13475889455. He also hoped the money would be good for me and my family (which thankfully, I do have) and finished with a “God Bless.” Seemed a bit dodgy to me though.
