Got a voicemail from this number with some automated voice saying it was urgent and needed my immediate attention. The lady on the recording mentioned a case number and warned that if I ignored this message plus their follow-up, I’d have to show up in front of a judge, magistrate, or even a grand jury for a federal crime. She told me to call back, and if I or my lawyer didn’t, I’d be fully responsible for what happens next. She finished off with a “good luck” and then hung up. Quite alarming, to say the least!

Just got a call from someone claiming to be from the Treasury or IRS. Total scam, don’t fall for it! They threatened legal action if I didn’t pay up, which seemed really dodgy. Hung up straight away and blocked the number. Stay safe, folks!
