11 yearsSomeone got into my laptop and somehow found my bank details and the last four digits of my social security number. Then they kept bothering me, insisting I owed them cash. They claimed I took out a £300 loan a couple of years ago and never repaid it. They even showed me what they said was my computer's IP address and told me I could make instalment payments to settle what I owed. But the amounts were so off - two payments that were double the original loan and payment plans that totalled around £1500 for a supposed £300 loan. It’s got scam written all over it.11 yearsI've been getting calls nonstop saying I’m behind on a loan I never even borrowed. Didn’t take any money out or agree to anything!12 yearsI keep getting calls from someone claiming I owe £990 to ACS Cash or ACS CASH Collection (email: [email protected]). They say I committed fraud but I never took out any loan with them. I don’t know how they even got my phone number and email address. It’s ridiculous that they say they’re taking me to court through email when they don’t even have my address. They’re obviously a scam and keep trying to frighten me into paying. I found out they’re doing the same scam to loads of other people. They even accuse me of giving a fake cheque, which is a complete lie. These calls come daily from 609 8589690 and they always leave a recorded message about a so-called investigation. I haven’t borrowed anything from them and just want them to stop contacting me.
