13 yearsOur business got a call from some telemarketing firm, and they were really pushy, wanting to talk to the owner straight away. When I asked why they were ringing, the guy, who said his name was Robert and claimed to be a manager, said he wanted to ask about our website. I politely told him we’ve already got a web designer and don’t need any help. That’s when Robert started swearing at me, calling me a f****ing b****. I used the caller ID to ring him back and asked to speak with someone higher up. He insisted he was the manager. I told him the swearing was totally unacceptable and asked for a copy of our call recording to be sent over, as well as a chance to talk to his boss. He just shouted the insult again and slammed the phone down.
