My lad got a message from this number, insisting there’s some money from the CRA waiting for him. Thankfully, he’s savvy enough to realise it’s a load of nonsense, seeing as he’s never even filed a tax return!

Total scam! Just got a dodgy text message with a link supposedly about my tax refund through direct deposit. Best to report it and then delete it right away.

Beware! I've just had a right dodgy call from someone claiming to be from Revenue Canada. They were after my banking details to supposedly process a "refund." Definitely sounds like a scam to me!
