This morning I received a call from this number, and before returning the call, I thought it wise to do a bit of digging here first. I'll be reaching out to the CRA later on to verify whether it's genuine that they urgently need to discuss my tax matters. I have a strong suspicion that this is just another spam call.

I received a rather alarming call purporting to be from the CRA, claiming I was under scrutiny for tax fraud. It’s utterly ridiculous and frankly quite distressing. I’m certain the CRA wouldn't operate like this. These scammers are a nuisance, particularly to our elderly population and those enjoying their retirement. A number of my mates have had similar experiences as well. It’s high time they were put in their place. Cheers for your attention to this matter!

I've been receiving frequent calls from a recorded message claiming to be from the Revenue Agency. The caller identifies himself as Officer Ryan Smith. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
