I got a text from this number (343 885 3500) claiming they were from CRA Collections. Naturally, I returned their call and was informed that there was an ongoing court case and that a warrant was out for my arrest due to alleged tax return fraud. They insisted I make an immediate online payment to settle things. Having had previous dealings with CRA Collections, I told them I needed to consult first. After chatting with my accountant, we concluded it was all a scam and advised to disregard any further communications. They sounded quite convincing, and I'm relieved I took a moment to do some background checks instead of falling into their trap.
