So, this bloke rang up saying he was Jimmy, my mum’s nephew, and she actually believed him. My mum’s quite old and the phone is in her name. The caller even mentioned her name. When she handed me the phone, she told me, “This is your cousin.” The guy only spoke Spanish and kept saying he was my cousin Jimmy. Then he hung up, only to ring back pretty quickly. He asked if I’d ended the call, which I hadn’t, and also wanted to know who he was talking to. I told him he didn’t know who he was chatting to, then he just hung up. Proper strange and a bit unsettling, really.
