The moment I do manage to answer, they hang up immediately. I tried calling back, but it just rings endlessly without anyone picking up. Quite puzzling, to say the least!

I greeted them, but received complete silence in return. I tried again, merely to be met with the same lack of response. Then, as if by magic, I could hear the sound of papers shuffling nearby. I quipped, “Well, I suppose we can just enjoy the sound of our own breathing,” and with that, they abruptly ended the call.
