This morning I got a ring from this number. I was about to ignore it, but saw it was from Wyoming, so I picked up. A woman’s voice came through asking, “Is this Brooke? … we’re on a recorded line...” Before that, I think she asked how I was doing. When I asked who she was and who she wanted, she just went quiet but kept the line open. She spoke clearly with no accent and sounded nice enough, but at no point did she say who she was or what company she represented. That “recorded line” bit really creeped me out - I thought they should ask if recording is okay first. Since she wouldn’t answer, I told her to take a hike and ended the call. Definitely not cool to be getting calls like this, especially on a Saturday when I’m just trying to chill. I wonder how they even got my number in the first place.

I really get fed up when they keep calling me 'annoyance'! If I don’t recognise the number, I just don’t pick up.

This number kept ringing me a bunch of times last year while I was staying a few nights in a hotel in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Never picked up, mostly just turned my phone over to avoid them. Eventually they gave up. Then out of nowhere, a year later, they start calling again, right after I visited some job websites. I’m not even in Wyoming anymore so I didn’t bother to answer. Honestly, they should just cross me off their list - unless they’ve got exactly what I want, I’m not even listening.
