I got a call from Wyoming telling me there’s some fraud case against me in Kentucky. Didn’t make sense at all!

They said they were from "Benefial Mediators" or something like that. Weird part was, they already had my full name, address and even my SSN. Tried calling them around 20 times, only got picked up maybe half a dozen times. Every single time they just hung up on me, and when I asked for their address or any details, they wouldn’t tell me. They used three different phone numbers: 702-779-3562 877-976-4537 702-779-3562 They kept claiming to be from a bank with a mash-up name like "Fleet Bank of CitiFinancial America" but sounded really dodgy. The person spoke in a strange way, almost like ebonics, and ignored me when I joked about offering a discount on bananas or grape drank. Definitely scammy vibes. I blocked all their numbers and just forgot about it.

I got a message saying there's a civil lawsuit against my husband. It mentions mediation, but won't tell me which company it's from. I'm thinking of filing a complaint about this. My husband is currently deployed and if these guys actually checked, they’d know he’s been in the military for nearly two decades. This feels fishy.

Got a robocall today, they left a voicemail mentioning my name and said there was a complaint lodged against me. They also gave me a number to ring back (877-937-7473) along with a complaint reference. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

Can someone tell me who this lot is that's ringing me? Sound like some shady lot to me. I picked up and mentioned there was a complaint lodged about them or something?
