So I got a call from this Karen, who claims to be some kind of specialist, but honestly she was just harassing me about debts that aren’t even real. They’re those dodgy third-party debt collectors who buy your info off some list and then try to scare you into paying some bogus, made-up amount. It’s all pretty sketchy and definitely not legit.

I got a call from this number, but it was actually meant for my dad. The message claimed he was facing two charges and warned that if he didn’t ring back, they’d show up at his work and home. At first, they even got the surname wrong, which was suspicious. When we rang them to ask some questions, things didn’t quite make sense. Then my husband looked up the number and discovered it was a known scam. Honestly, it made me pretty anxious for a little while!

This number called me but I didn't pick up. Later, an automated voice left a message saying someone has made a complaint about me and that I'd be served either at my house or work. They also gave a reference number, APR1135. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.
