Today I got a call from a man with an Indian accent who said I’d be arrested within a couple of hours for check fraud, claiming I’d taken a payday loan and never paid it back. I kept telling him I’d never had a payday loan, but he said I’d need to prove that in court and that I’d be locked up for a week. I’m a straight-up person and what they’re doing is just awful. I’m not exactly sure what they wanted from me, but it really freaked me out. If there’s anything I can do to help catch these scammers, please tell me.

These scammers keep ringing me up threatening that the local cops will come round to pin me for check fraud and using someone else’s Visa card. Total rubbish, just a scam! I told them I’m a police officer myself and that I’ll be with my colleagues when they come for me tomorrow. They went on about me owing about £9,000 to the courts and all sorts of nonsense. First off, they claimed I took out a payday loan for £300 and never paid it back but I never got anything! Then, all of a sudden, they said there’s a federal lawsuit against me. It’s just a bunch of people, mostly from India, stealing info and trying to scare folk. Honestly, I’m the one thinking of suing them! I’m urging everyone to leave comments about this number so the proper police can track them down! I’ve warned them many times to stop calling or I’ll report them for harassment. They don’t seem to believe me now but mark my words, those idiots will be shut down and in cuffs soon - I’m serious.

Got a call from someone claiming I was in some kind of legal trouble and asked for my social security number. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.
