The bloke sounded Asian and kept asking if I was _____ full name and if I still had my _____ car (year and model) which I’ve fully paid off. Didn’t want to say much until he told me a bit more, and all he said was something about my car insurance and warranty, but never actually gave a company name. He said his name was Martin Anderson, but that didn’t really fit his accent. Asked for a reference or case number and he said there wasn’t one. When I asked for a callback number, he suddenly got all jittery and refused, then just ended the call. Haven’t heard back from him since. Really weird that he gave his full name but nothing else.
