9 yearsAbsolutely the same experience here! I received a call on my mobile from a gentleman who appeared to be of Asian descent, wanting to verify if I was _____ my complete name and whether I still possessed my ______ (year/model) vehicle, which I've fully settled financially. When I declined to provide any information until he could furnish me with further details, he claimed he was calling on behalf of my motor insurance and warranty, but curiously enough, he didn’t disclose the name of the company. He introduced himself as Martin Anderson, although his accent didn't quite match the name he provided. He had no reference number or case number to share, which I found a bit odd. When I requested a call-back number, he hesitated, claiming that he couldn’t provide that, and then quickly ended the call, leaving me in the lurch. No follow-up from him either. It’s all very odd indeed! Honestly, this reeks of a scam!Martin Anderson9 yearsI've registered with the 'do not call' service, yet these callers persist in getting in touch with me. It's quite frustrating!9 yearsReceived a call from 305-902-1522 at my workplace. I picked up, but there was silence on the other end. I ended up hanging up on them. Honestly, these types of calls are a real bother. I can't help but ponder how much precious time they fritter away!9 yearsRang my mobile but didn’t leave a message. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number and reported it as spam.9 yearsIt's definitely a scam, and the nuisance of their incessant calls just doesn’t seem to let up, even when you pick up the phone!9 yearsI've been bombarded with endless calls on my mobile...despite being on both the 'Do Not Call' register and having blocked this number already! It’s quite frustrating, to say the least.10 yearsI received a rather peculiar call from a lady with a noticeable accent who inquired whether I owned a particular vehicle. When I pressed her for more details, she merely reiterated her question about the car ownership. She mentioned it was concerning some kind of car insurance matter. Upon informing her that I wasn’t the owner, she expressed her gratitude and promptly disconnected. Curious about the number, I attempted to ring it back, but was greeted by a message instructing me to press 1 to opt out of their updates or 2 to speak to someone. Definitely a dodgy scam!10 yearsA call came through for me, and when I identified myself, the caller abruptly claimed they'd dialled the wrong number. Quite strange, really!10 yearsPlease cease all calls to my mobile.11 yearsI received a rather puzzling call at work regarding my Lexus. It was so intrusive that I had to step away from a meeting to answer. However, when I picked up the phone, the caller had already disconnected. Curious, I tried to ring the number back, and a woman with a foreign accent dismissed it as a wrong number. I mentioned that they had called me personally and mentioned my Lexus, to which she bluntly replied that they'd remove my number from their records before hanging up again. Quite the odd situation, if you ask me!Submit Your Own Report (0305 902 1522)
