I received a call from someone claiming to be reaching out to individuals on a list related to a blood thinning medication called XARELTO. Interestingly, I was on blood thinners during my stay in hospital for leukemia treatment, although I can't recall all the medications administered back in 2009 through to 2011. The person on the other end of the line had quite a thick accent and their English was rather difficult to decipher; I couldn't pinpoint their origin. They seemed determined to record my voice and repeatedly urged me to say "XARELTO," which I was reluctant to do. When I inquired about their intentions, they kept pressing me for the name. In the end, I decided it was best not to proceed and simply hung up the phone.

It seems to me that this is nothing but a con job. It's high time that those responsible face the full force of the law.

It seems there’s a right nuisance going on with these blighters dishing out phone numbers left, right, and centre. Honestly, I'm fed up with the incessant ringing from these dodgy characters! It baffles me that anyone would engage with them at all. Can't we find a way to put an end to this madness? I’ve reported numerous numbers to the authorities, but I’m still inundated with these scam calls. Where's the intervention from the regulators when you need them?

I’ve received a call from a number I don't recognise, and I definitely want to put a stop to that. Time to block it from reaching me again!
