It rang on and on, but when I finally picked up, the line went completely silent.

I had a rather bizarre encounter with someone claiming to represent XLN Telecom, which is our provider, of course. However, the number they gave me was completely off! I asked him to confirm our actual phone number, because surely if he was genuinely from XLN, he'd be in the know about it, wouldn’t he? Honestly, what a numpty! Listen up, folks-do yourselves a solid and create passwords for your accounts. It’ll help ensure that when someone rings you, you can be sure it’s really them!

I received a call from an overseas call centre earlier, and to be honest, I couldn’t make head nor tail of what they were on about! So, I decided to hang up and save myself the hassle.
