On the 6th of June, 2024, at precisely 11:54 in the morning, I picked up the phone and was greeted by a man's voice inquiring whether I had obtained my new Medicare card. I promptly ended the call. I had been anticipating a different caller and, regrettably, neglected to look at the caller ID, which is typically my habit. Moreover, it’s quite clear that a new card isn’t required at this time. I have a sneaking suspicion this is nothing but a scam.
