I received a call from a woman claiming she could slash my credit card debt by half. However, before she could connect me to an advisor, she said she needed to confirm my eligibility. When I inquired about how they had obtained my number, she abruptly disconnected the call. I attempted to return the call, only to be greeted by a message stating, "The number you have reached is not in service." Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
