I received a rather curious call from a bloke with a notable Southern twang, possibly from Texas or Oklahoma. He actually asked for me by my first name. Once I acknowledged it was indeed me he was after, he promptly hung up the phone. Just to clarify, I’m based in Colorado. Quite the strange encounter, if I do say so!

Just to add, he rang me back, but this time it was an automated system that vaguely mentioned "THIS fundraising initiative" but without any details about which one or who's behind it. There was also an option to opt out of "THIS fundraising initiative." Honestly, it raises some red flags; I'm starting to think it might be a scam of some sort.
