UPDATE: I rang them back and got an automated voice talking about “THIS fundraising drive” without mentioning any particular group or cause. They offered a choice to opt out of “THIS fundraising drive”. Sounds dodgy to me, like a scam for sure.

Got a call from some bloke with a thick Southern drawl, sounded like he was from Texas or Oklahoma. He asked for me by my first name, but as soon as I said yes, he just dropped the call. I’m based out here in Colorado, so that was a bit odd.

Got a call from a guy with a thick Southern drawl, sounded like he was from Texas or Oklahoma, asking for me by first name. When I said yeah, that’s me, he just hung up straight away. I’m based in Colorado. Later on, I tried calling the number back and got an automated message talking about "THIS fundraising drive," but didn’t mention any particular group or cause. They offered a choice to opt out of "THIS fundraising drive." Honestly, feels like a dodgy scam to me.
