I just had a phone call from this number, and they proceeded to quiz me with four rather intrusive questions for some kind of survey.

4) Would I like a copy of the survey sent my way?

I've come across tales of scams where these callers attempt to elicit a 'yes' response to record it, thereby twisting it to suggest I asked for their services. Quite fishy, if you ask me!

The nuisance began yesterday when I found myself besieged by ten calls. Today, it appears I'm caught in some sort of automatic dialling loop, as more calls keep flooding in every half an hour, sometimes even just 15 minutes apart. I've switched off my voicemail since the callers never bother to leave a message. It’s incredibly frustrating to receive these calls just after 8 in the morning; that was my first hint that it’s all a bit dodgy and not from a genuine source!
