9 yearsI’ve had a run-in with these jokers too! They don’t bother leaving any voicemails, and if you try to ring them back, it’s a farce of an IRS scam. They claim to be from the IRS, complete with bogus ID numbers, insisting that you owe money and must settle up at once, or face jail time. It’s a right shambles! They start off by asking for your name, and even when I threw them a made-up one, they insisted that the name in question had some sort of legal trouble attached to it.
