Received yet another dodgy message from the same scam artist. The call came from the 705 area code, and it’s clear these chancers are using a payphone to dial out. I'd love to see them try and charge me for that call! Just a heads up, Revenue Canada doesn’t ring you up out of the blue. They require confirmation that you’ve received any correspondence. So, keep your wits about you when it comes to these fraudsters. NEVER disclose any personal information like your phone number or name. The proper protocol for Revenue Canada is to send a letter, and then it’s up to you to return the call. Stay vigilant!

I received a rather akin message on my voicemail. However, they failed to mention the reasons behind their intent to pursue legal measures.

I’ve received a rather alarming call about supposed tax evasion. They insisted I have my solicitor ring them back without delay, otherwise I could find myself facing court proceedings. Quite the scare, isn’t it?
