Got a call today from someone claiming to be "Alice Johnson." The message was definitely robotic, started off with "This call is for you" (even though there’s more than one adult here) and then said I needed to ring Alice on some special hotline to avoid legal trouble. I remembered hearing from the CRA and RCMP that real legal issues won’t come through phone calls but by official letters instead. So, I used *60 and #01# to block the number, but I bet they’ll just pop up again from another number soon enough. Really annoying these scam calls!
