Got a voicemail from some bloke warning me I’m in deep shit. He didn’t even bother to say my name, just said he was Eric Foster, but his accent was proper thick. Tried ringing back and the number’s dead - no longer working or something. Feeling a bit uneasy now.

Some bloke called me claiming to be Officer Eric Foster. The message felt pretty threatening and told me to call back. I couldn’t catch all of it because of his strong accent. At one point, he said something like, "All I can do is wish you good luck. What’s coming is on you."

On July 13th, 2016, I got a call from the number 2894089615 which really shook me up. The person on the other end spoke with what sounded like a British or maybe Australian accent. They were warning me about some problems with the Canada Revenue, trying to scare me. I'm 88 years old, living off a modest pension, and have nothing owed to the CRA. I report my taxes on time every year and for over two decades now, my assessments have shown zero tax due. It’s truly upsetting that these kinds of threatening calls are still happening. Somebody really needs to put a stop to this nonsense.
