First off, the message sounded like it was already in progress when the recording started, like it wasn’t a live person but just a pre-recorded clip. Then there’s the stuff he says to freak you out - like threatening me with a serious lawsuit and warning that my social insurance number would be flagged permanently. Oddly, he only mentions his name near the end, and I can’t even be sure if there was something before the voicemail began that got cut off.
