SCAM ALERT - Got a recorded call claiming my credit card had charges for eBay and gift cards. No mention of which credit card or anything specific, just a generic warning. The message told me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to listen again. Real credit card companies don’t use these weird automated messages for suspicious purchases. They didn’t even say the name of the credit card provider. This kind of behaviour really grinds my gears!! Seems like it’s that time of year when these scammers start circling, hoping to catch people off guard.
