This number somehow slipped past all my call blockers and ended up leaving a message on my voicemail. The message was a recorded one, but it started playing before my answering machine finished its intro, so I missed the beginning. From what I caught, they claim they’ve been trying to reach me for six months and since I haven’t responded, they accuse me of intentional fraud and say they’ve taken legal action against me. I was pretty unsettled at first, but after seeing someone else’s comment about a similar call pretending to be from the IRS, I’m certain it’s a scam. The IRS would never handle things like that - these are just horrible scammers.

There was a call from someone saying they were with the IRS, telling me I was involved in some tax fraud and that they’d already got a warrant out for my arrest.
