So, the person who called said they were from the Association for Paramedics and Firefighters. But from what I found, this group is actually up there as one of the worst charities in the US. Loads of complaints about shady fundraising, and barely anything like 3% of the money they get goes to the folks they're meant to help. Sounds pretty dodgy to me.
