Someone rang me from this number claiming my computer had a virus and that there had been complaints from others about it. The call came through on my work phone, but the guy couldn’t say which of my many devices was meant to have the problem. He kept trying to put me through to a 'tech expert' who’d supposedly fix it for me. Honestly, it seemed clear to me they just wanted to get something installed on my PC, and I’m seriously doubtful it would do me any good at all.

Just got a call a couple minutes ago from someone sayin my computer had virus warnings or somethin. I couldn't make out half of what he was sayin so I just ended the call quick.

I keep getting calls from a number out of Houston, Texas, and the person on the other end claims there’s a problem with my computer. They try to get my details to “fix” it, but it’s definitely a con. Stay clear of this one!
