6 yearsSo I got this message calling me by my actual name, telling me to check out a link that looked like it was hosted on Amazon, but wasn’t the real Amazon site. The link took me to a fake survey that claimed if I completed it, I’d win a prize. But turns out, to claim the “prize,” I had to pay a dollar. That’s when it clicked it was a con. They then asked for my card details, including the long number and security code. Obviously, it’s a trick so they can steal from your bank without you noticing.
