11 yearsThis number rang me in the middle of the night, around 1:15am, which totally woke me up. Then they called again really early the next day, about 7:00am. Honestly, I’m fed up and won’t pick up anymore because I really need to rest - been unwell lately. It’s clear they’re scammers trying to hack into your computer. About a year ago, I got tricked by them claiming to be from Microsoft and ended up paying £200 for supposed lifetime virus protection. I had to get my computer fixed at a local, reputable repair shop afterward, which cost me another £80. Since then, I’ve learnt my lesson and I just hope the authorities catch these fraudsters soon before they con anyone else.Microsoft11 yearsAbout a year back, these lot convinced me to buy a lifetime security service for my computers. Now out of the blue, they claim they’re shutting down and want even more of my personal details to supposedly give me back the $700 I paid. I’m pretty sure this is just another trick by the same bunch. It’s really frustrating, especially since older folks like me get targeted so often. Wish there was a way to stop these scammers once and for all.12 yearsThey ring me around ten times daily but never bother to leave a voicemail.
