Got two calls from this number today but everytime I answered, there was no one there. Weird!

This number keeps ringing me and leaves a voicemail claiming there's some kind of arrest warrant out for me and a lawsuit filed under my name. It then tells you to ring back to find out more. Totally dodgy if you ask me - lawsuits are civil matters, brought by private lawyers on behalf of companies or individuals, whereas arrest warrants come from the criminal side and are issued by government prosecutors. Definitely a scam!

Today, November 4th, I had a missed call from the number 266-7211066. I didn't pick it up since the number looked strange to me. They also didn’t leave any voicemail or message.

Got a call today from this number claiming to be from Ontario Hydro doing a survey. I answered a few questions, figured it was legit, but now I’m not so sure. Sounded like a typical scam, they were asking stuff like my name, age, whether I own a place or not, and my postcode. I gave them the details, but no idea what they might use it for next.

Got a call around midnight, no one on the line, wasn’t in the mood to listen anyway.

Got a call from London, Ontario, supposedly from a survey team working for Enbridge Gas. They were asking about switching to paperless billing, stuff like when I first knew about email bills and if I’d change over if they gave a year’s free gas. The call lasted around 6 to 8 minutes and sounded like a young girl was running it. I double checked with Enbridge, and they said they don’t use any survey company called Lodgey Group. When I tried calling back, the message asked me to log in at lodgeygroup.com but then gave an error message saying no such site exists. Feeling a bit uneasy about this, does anyone know where else besides Enbridge I could report this dodgy call?

Around midday on the 18th of October 2014, I got a phone call from 226-721-1066, showing up as from London, ON. A man on the line claimed he was doing a survey for something called Added Value Opinion & Market Research Study. He asked if he could speak to the man of the house. When I asked to be taken off their call list, he said their numbers were picked at random. I requested a main contact for the company and he gave me 1-855-243-2496. I then told him I'd be reporting the call and company to the Texas Attorney General’s Office, as I'm registered on the Do Not Call list. Can someone please block this number? They call me daily, pestering me to finish some survey I’m not interested in. They really don’t seem to respect when I say I’m not taking part. I didn’t want to be rude but had to hang up in the end. Now, I want to make sure my number is taken off their list. Does anyone know how to get that sorted?
