Earlier today, I received a phone call from a number claiming to be conducting an Ontario Hydro Survey. Naively, I answered a few questions, believing it to be legitimate. However, upon reflection, I now believe it to be a scam. It seems they were after personal information such as my name, age, homeownership status, and postal code. I unwittingly provided them with these details. I am now concerned about what they might do with this information.

I received a call in London, Ontario regarding a survey for Enbridge Gas Company. The caller asked about switching to email billing and when I became aware of this option. They also inquired if I would switch if given one year of free gas for my house. The survey consisted of questions rated on a scale of 1-10 and lasted around 6-8 minutes. The person who called sounded like a high school girl. However, when I contacted Enbridge, they informed me that they do not have a survey company called Lodgey Group. I attempted to call back and was directed to log in to lodgeygroup.com, but the voicemail ended with an error message and there is no such website. This situation has left me quite concerned. I would like to know where else I could report this suspicious call, apart from contacting Enbridge directly.
