I picked up and a woman with an Asian accent came on the line, saying TalkTalk had detected some kind of issue with my internet. She claimed there was an attempt to hack into my computer... makes you wonder how they would even have that info, right?

First there was this weird silence, then some guy with an Asian accent said he was calling from Talk Talk about problems with my broadband. I told him I'd already checked with Talk Talk and they don’t do calls like that, and suddenly the call just cut off. Bit suspicious if you ask me!

This number’s been buzzing me for ages and I never picked up until today. When I finally did, some bloke said he was Mark from TalkTalk and mentioned something about an internet issue. I told him I hadn’t reported any problems with my internet, and then he just hung up on me. I tried calling back, but it said the number wasn’t recognised. If I had said there was a problem, I’m pretty sure he’d have tried to get into my computer... defo a scam, no question.

Today I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT about my internet service. Told them they were wasting their time and to buzz off.
