This morning I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who claimed she was calling from Windows. She said my PC had been hacked by criminals and they were misusing my ID. She wanted me to switch on my computer and follow some instructions with her. She was quite pushy, but I kept saying no. She tried talking over me repeatedly, but I finally asked her for my name and address - both were wrong. I also told her my phone number wasn’t registered with Windows, and then she got quite rude, so I just ended the call. Be careful, and never share your personal info with these people.

this number wont stop ringing me, i get calls from them any time day or night, like just last night they were on at 10.45pm. its getting really annoying and needs to be dealt with quick. i dont even answer anymore and just check 1471 to see who it is. this week alone they have tried to ring me more than 20 times.

The moment he started talking, I could tell it was one of those dodgy scams trying to convince me there was something wrong with my laptop. I told the bloke to get my number off their list, and he snapped back with "miss, be quiet and pay attention." No way was I hanging about for that, I just ended the call. Honestly, this outfit ought to be looked into properly.

Today I got a ring from this number too. When I asked what they wanted, they got really rude and started being aggressive. Don’t share any details with them - I reckon they’re just trying to hack into your computer or something.

Got a call from some bloke saying, "Good afternoon, mate, Michael here from Windows." I was like, "No way! Windows don't bother anyone. You're just a tosser. Keep ringing and I swear I'll track you down and sort you out proper!" He just replied, "Go on then." Then he hung up.
