Got a call from some random number out of nowhere, just one of those annoying cold calls. Totally junk.

We’ve had this bloke with a British accent ringing up asking for the owner of the business, who’s actually retired now. He says he’s from some food and drink company and wants to speak to whoever’s in charge. I wasn’t comfortable giving out the boss’s name, but offered to send him to voicemail so he could decide if he wanted to leave a message. When I wouldn’t give him the name, he got proper rude and insisted he needed a chat with me. As soon as he got nasty, I told him we weren’t interested and to stop calling, then ended the call. After that, he kept ringing back non-stop for like ten minutes straight, one call right after the other. Every time I picked up, there was no one there. I’d hang up, and the phone would ring again. Felt like pure harassment!

Got a call from a lady claiming she was ringing from London. She said she was looking for someone in our Business Development team. Looking back, I really should’ve realised it was some sort of scam.

Every morning between 9 and 10, I get calls from this number. Sometimes it’s a bloke with a British accent, other times a lady. It’s proper irritating!
