Received a rather dodgy robocall purporting to be from Cardmember Services, touting enticing interest rates if I just hit "1". It was evidently a sneaky marketing ploy from the get-go. Once I was put through to a live agent, I inquired, "Which company are you representing?" To which he replied, "Cardmember Services," and started his sales spiel. When I mentioned that I’m on the Do Not Call Register, he audaciously asserted that I’m already a customer and therefore exempt from those rules. He carried on with his sales pitch, and I insisted on being removed from their contact list. His response was, “We can sort that... just don’t hang up,” yet he ended up hanging up on me instead. Quite the cheek!
