The number showed up as SSI on my caller ID, and the person said they were conducting a survey. That instantly made me wary and I decided not to share anything. These kinds of calls are a real pain, especially when they’re hitting a business. The FCC really ought to step in and stop these people from using fake numbers and fishing for info that’s none of their business. I told the caller straight up that I wouldn’t give out details and asked them to send any requests in writing instead. As soon as I said that, they hung up, saying maybe they’d try again. I told them fine, but it won’t work.

Called them but no reply and they didn’t leave any voicemail either, quite disappointing.

I picked up the phone and there was nobody on the other end. It's been happening quite a bit recently and it’s honestly more frustrating than getting a real caller. When it’s a person, I can at least mess with them a bit in return.

I got a call from a number linked to Maine, USA, and the person claimed to be from Greenwich Associates. When I looked them up online, I found offices in Stamford, CT, Pleasanton, CA, London, Tokyo, Toronto, and Singapore. But nowhere does it show they have a branch in Maine. Bit odd, if you ask me.
